No Place: The Agora, Publisher, 1930. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. 32 pp. First issue of this little magazine focusing on literature of the South, including poetry and prose, with work by Norman Macleod, Jewell Miller and others. With a letter from the editor, Addison Hibbard, discussing and criticizing, the overuse of certain characters or themes in Southern writing, including stereotypical portrayals of African-Americans. GOOD condition. Heavy offsetting/darkening along the extremities, with moderate foxing. Some soiling and small areas of staining. Heavy pencil line at the front for edge, with a cursive l at the top left corner. Minor wrinkling and creasing along the extremities.
