Bound in decorated light blue cloth with paper labels with red lettering on spine and boards. Boards have light wear present to the extremities of the boards. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. This work features detailed explanations of his many tricks, accompanied by clear diagrams, and offers much in way of practical advice and information to today's magician, whether amateur or professional. Contents Include Close Up Magic, Parlor and Stage Magic, Cards, Coins, Silks, Linking Rings, Mnemonics, Ropes, Mindreading, Thread Magic, etc. With an autobiographical sketch of Al Baker's Vaudeville, and Chautauqua Magical experiences. Carl Waring Jones (1887-1957) was a newspaper publisher (Minneapolis Journal) and book collector best known for publishing Greater Magic in 1938. E-186; 9.1 X 6.1 X 0.6 inches; 135 pages .
