Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1945; no additional printings indicated on copyright page, however front jacket flap states "Second Large Printing"; unpaginated. VG-/G+ hardcover in G/G- dust jacket. Very slight forward lean to spine, otherwise binding is tight, sturdy, and square; bottom corners gently bumped, else only minor wear, minor toning to edges of grey cloth boards; stamped maroon titling/decoration on front board remains bold; illustrations and text also very good. Several small chips and closed tears at edges of unclipped ($2.50) dust jacket, larger chipping over ends of spine; moderate amount of toning, minor rubbing to jacket as well; thin blue paint stain about 3 1/2" long on rear jacket panel; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar.
