About This Item
Garden City: Doubleday, 1927. First Edition - American. A little foxing to endpapers, some soiling and rubbing to original cloth, former owner’s signature, some evidence of a removed label on rear pastedown, very good plus in a facsimile dust jacket with the artiwork showing the ice age man holding aloft a severed head. An Allan Quartemain story which takes place many thousands of years ago during one of Allan’s early incarnations and involves pre-historic adventure and romance. The American edition was published simultaneously with the British edition.
