In addition to serving as a chaplain overseas in World War II, Rabbi Seligson, served Central Synagogue in New York City as assistant rabbi, then chief rabbi for 20 years and later as rabbi emeritus. He was also the host of the Message of Israel radio program. Leipzig, Germany: Otto Hotze's Rachfolger, 1922. This is a survivor of days gone by. Just after World War One, or as they knew it, The Great War, this book was published in Germany. It somehow survived WWII, either by traveling overseas beforehand thus avoiding the book burnings there, or being hidden by some intrepid rebel right under the noses of the Nazis. The edges of the book are sunned, the aging pages have come loose from the wraps all as a whole stapled group.
