Constable,, 1895. 8vo., Third Edition, with frontispiece (original tissue guard present), title in red and black, title-vignette, and 99 full-page plates, endpapers mildly browned; original green ribbed cloth, upper board lettered in gilt, brown cloth back lettered in gilt, uncut, hinges tender (but binding wholly sound), boards mildly faded else a bright, clean copy. With the engraved armorial bookplate of John Francis Leigh Clare on front paste-down, and his holograph signature on front free endpaper. Published in the same year as the first edition. Clare was son to John Leigh Clare, merchant and art collector, of Toxteth Old Hall, Liverpool. Neate *176.
