UK mass market paperback, first printing thus, based on a 1977 TV documentary by David Ambrose & Christopher Miles, The speculation here is that the Earth is doomed and there exists an international conspiracy of long standing to preserve a small remnant of human survivors. Weaves climate change, ufology, critical pollution, spontaneous combustion, mind control, and secret collaboration in space, among other elements, to suggest its case. Binding square and firm. The number "1" is stamped 3 times on the top of the text block. Minor wear only. No ownership markings.
