New York: American Alpine Club, 1946. First Edition . Printed Wrapper. Very Good/No Jacket Issued. Original 1946 issue of The American Alpine Journal. Volume 6 Number 1, issue 18. This NOT the special war number. It is the regular issue for 1946 with 180 pages. Original printed wrappers. Very good condition appearing almost new except for two faint spots on spine: very clean, sharp edges, 5mm tiny split at top of spine edge, no chips, slight tanning spine, no marks or writing on any pages, complete with all pages & photo plates, tight binding. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
