About This Item
Bloomington: Indiana University Book. Good. Soft cover. pp135-151. Removed from INDIANA MAGAZINE OF HISTORY, Volume 59, No. 2, June, 1963. Wrps. G. An interesting article. The inns during the period 1775-1850, were characterized by a lack of class distinction and very primitive accommodations. The author mentions that the "ubiquitous bedbug was emphatically no respecter of persons" but doesn't mention lice and fleas which, I understand, were also frequent "guests." .
