About This Item

State College PA: The Journal of the American Philatelic Society, 1970. Entire issue; professionally cased into titled buckram boards with utilitarian titling, marbled endsheets over cloth hinges, a nice job. Cover titling promotes an article by Malcolm MacGregor, "South Polar expoloration and explorers" rather than the featured story. Pp. 569-664, original wraps present, a very good copy. Also: Nicaraguan earthquake of 1931 ("Nicaragua cover tells story"); one-cent stamp of 1851; handstamped 'Ghana' on aerogrammes.
