Various Publishers, 1951-83. Very Good. Formidable collection of 25 science fiction digest magazines, copies belonging to Andrew J. Offutt, with his "Funny Farm" address label on 7 issues of "Analog," 1 issue of "Fantasy and Science Fiction" rubber-stamped, laid-in material (including personal business cards) with notations in 7 various issues, and 11 issues with with his notations throughout; 1 "Analog" issue signed to "Andy" by contributor Piers Anthony as "Piers Anthony Jacob" at his inclusion. Notations in holograph ink and pencil, highlighting, simple editorial marks and his own fleeting opinions. Offutt was an avid science fiction author noted for "Conan"-themed fantasies, debuted as a published writer in 1951, and wrote 100s of erotic novels pseudonymously as John Cleve, Turk Winter, John Denis, Jeff Morehead, Opal Andrews, and others. The "Spaceways" series is his ultimate collaboration of science fiction and erotica. Issues include: Analog (9, 1966, 1974, 1982-83), Galaxy (6, 1951, 1957), Fantasy and Science Fiction [The Magazine of] (August 1956), If [Worlds of] (5, all 1966), Worlds of Tomorrow (4, 1965-67). Most issues Very Good Plus overall; rubbing, foxing, brief creases. A few lesser. Full collation upon request.
