New York: Selmar Hess, Publisher. Wraps. Good. no date, presumed 1880s. Blue printed wraps. Pagination runs 39-70, with text ending mid-sentence on the last page, and beginning mid-sentence at the beginning. Color plate of a Respledent Trogon at the front, with black and white illustrations of the Bald Eagle, Red Throated Falcon and others. A single part (#23) of this work that is often found as a complete bound volume, presumably originally issued in parts as this. With sections on eagles, falcons, kites and buzzards. GOOD condition. Offsetting along the wrappers' extremities. Minor soiling, fading and toning. Some chipping and minor tearing along the extremities, with a 2 inch tear at the top of the front wrapper.
