Washington DC: Library of Congress, 1970. First Edition. Very Good. [10.5x8in]; vii, 349 pp., 4773 entries, author and subject index; Dark blue cloth covers with gilt lettering on front and spine, all edges trimmed; Some soiling and stains to covers and spine. The National Science Foundation and Library of Congress produced and published 24 volumes from 1965 to 1997. The collection of literature relating to Antarctica is limited and the volumes contain mostly scientific and technical references in multiple languages. All have been digitized and are maintained in a database by the American Geosciences Institute. The COLD Database is accessible at www.coldregions.org. This book is a separate volume.
