CONTENTS: Preface (Nin); Introduction; The Fragility of the Mind (1896-1926), The Theatre and the Plague (1927-1935), The New Revelations (1936-1948); Conclusion, Notes, Bibliography, Index. 255 pages. CONDITION: A tight, square copy with moderate shelf-wear and a bit of discoloration in the lower left corner of the front cover, plus a single crease adjacent to the front spine edge. The interior is near-pristine, unmarked but for a previous owner's signature. This remains an attractive copy - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
