Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Co. Good with no dust jacket. 1902. Hardcover. 2 volume set. Hard covers published by Houghton, Mifflin and Co. in 1902 and 1905. No dust jackets. Ex-college library books, with library markings. Dark blue cloth covers with gilt borders, lettering and designs on front and gilt lettering on spines. Covers have some scuffing and stains, spines are darkened, and corners of covers are bumped, with some wear. Ends of spine are worn, with some tearing and fraying. Top edges of pages are gilt-covered. Vol. 1: tissue guard for frontispiece is intact but wrinkled, the page after dedication page is loose, and back inner hinge is partially split. Vol. 2: spine is cocked some. Pages have slight tanning, several pages have some smudging, and endpapers have some foxing. Books are in good condition. 613 pages, 14.9 lb.; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 613 pages .
