London: Macmillan, 1966. First Edition . Cloth. Very Good/Good. (1st English) Includes historical notes, Foreword and Epilogue by Detlev von Uexkull. Translated by Joel Carmichael. Brown cloth with light fading to top front right, gilt border and gilt title very fine at spine top, light crease at bottom back, inside covers and adjacent end papers show book with leather binding of the journal, 319 lightly browned pages. DJ heavy paper beneath mylar, color-illustration of man and woman on front by Milton Glaser, light brown background. DJ has very tiny nick at top and bottom front spine indentation, micronick at spine middle right, nick with very slight wear at spine top left and right edge, black smudge lines at bottom back. Good DJ/Very Good book.
