This edition includes a 'special chapter on food in tuberculosis and consumption of the lungs'. adverts to endpapers & verso half-title, viii+264; browning to endpapers, specks to fore-edge and occ.spots elsewhere, otherwise clean, tight & unmarked; covers clean and unworn bar v.slight spine end rubbing, Cocoa ad. on back, spine a little dull & darkened. Undated but an advert at end celebrates 30 years of Bonthron & Co, 1868-1899 (sic) so cannot be much after 1900 at the latest. Do try the larded sweetbreads.
