About This Item

Dust jacket has small spots of wear at some corners and edges, the book has less. Blue fabric covered boards with black print. A collection of humorous, perhaps satiric, essays on English history, with illustrations. Pages are clean, tight and bright, with no significant yellowing inside and some brown spotting on the top edges. This is possibly a first edition, as the year is given on the title page, but nothing specific is mentioned on the copyright page regarding editions or printings.
