In 1923 she established, with other women, the Egyptian Feminist Union which was affiliated to The International Alliance of Women For Suffrage. After the death of his mother, he decided to write her story and that of his family - a family that had, for nearly a century, been actively involved in Egypt's financial, political and social development.
