Containing the laws of auction bridge, as framed by a joint committee of the Portland and Bath clubs, and approved and adopted by the committee of the Portland club. This work was originally intended to appear as a second edition of 'Auction Bridge' , published in 1908; but on going over that book for revision, it was necessary to alter it so materially, that it was determined to publish a new book on the game, under the present title.
