About This Item

New York: Aperture, 1977 Square orientation. Sander's work never dissimulates or diverges from the terrible truth, nor does it ignore the grandiose or beautiful. His portraits resound with clarity and expressiveness. From the collection of Sanje (Frank) Elliott, Buddhist mentor, artist, and friend to many. Condition notes: 94 numbered pp; HB no DJ. Pages: clean, bright, tight, photographic frontis; all edges slightly sunned. Cover: glossy white paper over boards, b/w photo front, black titles front/spine; light shelfwear, extrems mildly worn, a few instances of tiny to very small surface chips, modest rubbing.

Fine-AN, but not as bright, minor marks or other minor defects. Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects.
