About This Item
New York: Pawson & Clarke, 1929. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Five hundred copies only printed by New York publisher Payson & Clarke for presentation to notable authors, rather than for general sale. This copy was destined for C Reginald Grundy, prolific writer on the arts and the editor of The Connoisseur. Much of interest within on both the business of writing (and advertising) books, and on books of note published during 1928 and before, largely from an American perspective. Stock toned, but otherwise in good order throughout. Light wear to marbled paper-covered boards with brown cloth to spine, this also lightly worn. 12mo. 212pp

About Dodman Books
Formerly Journobooks, my original speciality was books about journalism, journalists, newspapers and other media (hence the name) and I still have a good stock of hard-to-find books in that field. Over time I have added a wide and eclectic variety of other collectible volumes alongside a general secondhand stock. I am a collector as well as a seller so know all about the pitfalls of online buying as well as the joys. I will try to make your buying experience as easy and as pleasant as possible.
