George H. Doran. Hardcover. Good/Good. 139 pages. No date stated, but between 1913 (author's death) and 1927. With a Memorial Introduction by H.W. Massingham. 4-1/2" x 6-3/4", dark blue buckram with gilt lettering and decorative pattern on spine, top edge decoratively tinted blue, corners sharp, foot of spine shelf-worn, in soiled DJ with wear, small tears and chipping at its corners. "August 1962" and name of former owner Prof. Warner Berthoff on ffep, with his notation "from library of Bettina Linn." Miss Linn (1905-1962), author and professor of English, was Berthoff's colleague at Bryn Mawr. Bookstore price notation in pencil on rear pastedown, Berthoff's and Linn's margin brackets and notes in pencil on rfep and a few pages (fewer than 10 observed).
