New York, 1961. unbound. 1 page on personal stationery, 7 x 6 inches, New York, October 21, 1961, in part: "There is not satisfactory progress in heading off Leukemia...you may write Dr. Sidney Farben who makes the most encouraging study about Leukemia in childhood..." Accompanied by the original handwritten, postmarked envelope. One horizontal fold; tiny crease in the upper right corner. Very good(+) condition.<br/> <br/> Hungarian-American pediatrician who gained international renown for the Schick test which determined an individual's susceptibility to diphtheria, virtually eliminating the dreaded disease.<br/> <br/>
