Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co., 1946. ix, 245 pp., green cloth w/ gold lettering & decoration; Book shows extensive surface wear to cloth, esp. to upper half of front board & to spine, w/ remainder of wear mostly at edges; rear board shows a 1/2" x 3/4" red stain & some rubbing; corners of boards moderately bumped; wear to ends of spine; only library markings are a pen notation & embossed stamp to title page, & card pocket & due slip to rear endpapers; large browned areas to two facing pages from old paper left in book, followed by a few small pencil notations on following pages / Illustrated with four sections of B&W photos. Book is from the Bessemer Public Library, Bessemer, PA, and was checked out only once, on March 10, 1949. /. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good -/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Ex-Library.
