In original green cloth, titled in gold on front and spine; black coated endpapers; x, 148pp.; with one page of publisher's ads facing title page. Straight and clean, rubbed at corners and spine, with multiple short tears to outer margin of pp.93-94, else Very Good.
Second edition of a collection of poems by Irish poet and playwright John Todhunter (1839-1916), better known for his plays, his friendship with the Yeats family, and his general involvement in Irish literary circles (ODNB). OCLC records 30 copies of first edition and only 11 of the second. Both editions are uncommon in the trade. NCBEL III: 1906.
