In the eighth century the Caliph Hisham built a mosque up against the pilgrimage church that honored Sergius. Bound in 1/4 maroon cloth over paper covered boards, spine lettering gilt, one corner with a very minute bump otherwise fine, in a fine pictorial dust jacket.
