London, United Kingdom: Collins, 1947. Bound in the publishers light blue cloth with silver title lettering to spine. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions. Slight spotting to page edges not affecting text. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. A nice copy. Housed in the colouful dustwrapper which has been neatly price clipped. Miniscule wear to the edges and light signs of handling. A few small nicks and hairline tears to edges otherwise a very good example of the Stephen Russ designed dustwrapper. Light spotting to back panel and flap edges. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. A very collectable copy and becoming scarce in this condition. . First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. Illus. by Joyce Bruce. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
