Buñuel's first color film, about a bored and directionless young housewife who begins working in a brothel while her husband is at work, with tragic consequences for him and a jealous client involved in organized crime. Winner of the Golden Lion at the 1967 Venice Film Festival.
Set in and shot on location in Paris.
10.25 x 8 inches. Near Fine, with light edgewear at corners and small title annotation in manuscript pencil in bottom margin.
