About This Item

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1949. Cloth. Very Good/Good. Tweed cover, purple windmill EPs. Previous owner has "checked off" titles in pencil (neatly!) on internal list but no other writing in book. Book lists to self. DJ is pale blue "twins & dog" style, lists on flap to At Whitesail Harbor, back cover features Burgess Bedtime Story Books, back flap features Honey Bunch. Jacket is pretty good, two chips on either side of bottom of spine, does not obscure "Grosset & Dunlap". Other minor chipping or rubbing. Probable first printing of this title, one of the last to be issued in this format.
