New York: The Derrydale Press, 1940. First edition, limited to 550 copies. Cloth. Very good. (1940). Duodecimo (4 3/4" x 7"), navy cloth, gilt, with an oval lozenge with an illustration of a creel with fish, top center. Corners illustrated with trout flies. Top edge gilt. 401pp. Illustrated by Milton C. Weiler. This is copy number 499 of 550. Very good with some offsetting from on the endpapers, probably from a jacket having been taped on. faint stain on the top edge. A little surface wear on the cover, barely noticeable. Some leaves unopened. A lovely copy.
