New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1925. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Navy blue blind-ruled wood-grained cloth with gilt lettering. vi, 244pp. Very good. Mildly edgeworn binding, else quite tight and internally fine. A handsome later printing of this 1921 -- with fun autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf is an autograph item from a cast member of the 1948 film version, the comedy "So This Is New York" -- Arnold Stang signs a heavy stock 5" X 3" card large and bold in blue ballpoint, datnig it 21 May 1969 at upper right. Fine. Stang (1918-2009), who plays a Western Union clerk in this film, was a prolific comic actor, a regular for manty decades in films and on television. Laid in is the perfect bookmark: The original Stang transmittal envelope.
