New York: Academic Press, 1969 1969, 1970. xiii, [1], 598pp; xiv, [2], 643pp, printed on fine glossy paper, uniformly bound in green cloth, gilt still bright, binding and hinges tight, illustrated throughout. The dust jacket for volume 1 shows some taping, both dust jackets show edge wear/tear, both now housed in protective mylar covers. Previous ownership: Signature and stamp of A. M. Stuart of Glasgow, "Dr. A.M. Stuart, Division of Entomology, Canberra City, Australia" who went on to become Professor at the Department of Zoology at the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst, MA.
