Heavy tanning to pages with sticker and tape residue to endpapers and heavier tanning to text block edges. Boards have visible tape marks and rubbing with minor bumping to corners. Soft crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket with tape marks to flaps and visible sticker residue to front. Visible rubbing and visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends.
Synopsis
The Bird of Time is a science fiction novel by author Wallace West. It was published in 1959 by Gnome Press in an edition of 5,000 copies, of which 2,102 were never bound. The novel is a fix-up of four of West's short stories that had originally appeared in the magazines Astounding and Thrilling Wonder Stories.
