About This Item
Scottsdale, AZ: Doubleshoe Publishers, 1973. 8th Printing of 1973 . Soft cover. Good/None as Issued. Harriet Morton Holmes (Illustrator). Text/Bright & strong w/marginalia. Illustrated soft cover/VG w/surface rubs & showing faint discoloration. PO name to fEP. First published 1941; this copy is 8th Printing of 1973. Prior owner resident of Tucson, Arizona. Inked marginalia refers to bird sightings. Example: On the Roadrunner (Chaparral Cock), "Visited me on the back porch; lives near", and 2nd record, "Brought their young one to visit me. This is Rodney ... my name for him". Regretfully, the sightings are undated, but remains, nevertheless, a delightful comparative chronicle by a bird lover. Strong copy.
