Collective writing project with five author's each penning a section relating to one of five detectives working on the mystery. ; 352 pages; Salvatore Carlucci, part time detective and owner of The Black Moon bar, calls upon a team of America's toughest detectives for a continent wide investigation. Back in the late 1940s a vicious group of theives broke into an Italian museum and stole a group of related paintings, killing one of three American soldiers guarding the museum in the process. Now in 1989 the pictures have resurfaced in several American cities, and Carlucci wants to know the truth behind their disappearance. Afterall he was one of the guards at the museum... .
