Protagonist identifies her suicided daughter's corpse (neat brief description, death by Golden Gate Bridge), sets out to find why, and to buy some real estate in San Francisco. Success in both endeavors. Author "a working writer all her life;" a second novel, "Guerrero Street," was forthcoming.
