Quarter-red cloth over photo-illustrated boards, embossed red & black lettering on front cover (slight shelfwear, rubbing), still NF copy. First edition of this well-illustrated volume describing the devastating flood which struck Kansas City, MO, and Kansas City, KS destroying 1000s of buildings, displaced over 100,000 residents, and total losses approached $ 1 Billion July 13, 1951.
