1680 BIBLE Common Prayer Sternhold Psalms English Black Letter Psalter Anglican
A truly rare late 17th-century Holy Bible and Book of Common Prayer from the Church of England. Like many similar works, this book includes the Psalms of David, calendars, orders of prayers, tables and rules for devotion, and litanies and prayers. This edition, published by John Bill, includes a black-letter printing of the Psalms as well as a printing of Sternhold and Hopkins metered 'Whole Book of Psalms'.
