This is a combination of advertising book and recipe book with a significant amount of pubisher supplied content. Advertisements are from local politicians, including Ted Mann, then mayor of Newton, local businesses and parishioners. The recipe section is followed by an index which is followed by community advertisments. Book also includes a history of St. Jean's Parish. Original artwork decorates the recipe section divider pages. Recipes are signed with the name of the contributor; there is no index of contributors.
