Small spot on front cover. ¶ AN IMPORTANT SALE FOR THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF BOOKBINDING, featuring a remarkable series of Parisian bindings from the library of Thomas Wotton (the "English Grolier"); that these were all dated 1552 has never been explained. There is also a highly significant Blake collection, various manuscripts, etc. Forty-seven black-and-white reproductions on 36 leaves: illustrated are bindings, illustrations, etc., with additional reproductions in text. Extensive notes in pencil in some places.

From 2002 until 2013 he taught advanced graduate level courses in Rare Books and Special Collections (Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University, and the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin School of Information).
