Off-setting from the d.j. flaps to the end-paper,s as often, otherwise a lovely copy. No inscriptions, fading or clipping. D.J. spine a trifle rubbed. From Collins 'Britain in Picture' series1941-1950. No 78. A total of 132 volumes were produced in the series. They were printed on Mellotex Book paper so have survived in much better condition than most other books of the period. The general editor was W.J.Turner.. 1st edition. hard back. Fine/V G rubbed. large 8vo.
