Signed "9/14/08 For Gen Powell, I'm sure you know this story but I figured that you could get some depth from this version. Enjoy / Kareem" on the front free endpaper. Both Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Colin Powell were featured speakers at Peter Lowe's "Success 1996" seminar. Since that time, Abdul-Jabbar has consistently referenced General Powell as an inspiration for his philanthropic work.
