About This Item

Vernon House, London: George Lapworth & Co. , Ltd. ,. Near Fine with no dust jacket. (1944). Presumed First UK Edition. Paperback. Lovely period childrens 'Bunny' tale. Stapled paper wraps. Staples are rusty, and some light 'rubbing' to the spine. Otherwise this is old shop stock that was never sold and is in Excellent condition apart from the staples and two staple 'marks' on the rear cover from another book. NO date but most of the books I had from this 'buy' were from the 1920s/1940s. The covers are printed in bold primary colours, and the inside is illustrated in b/w and the same primary colours (as on the covers) on alternate pages. 15 pages including the inside of the covers. Delightful! At the time of listing I also have 2 others in the same series - 'Piggykin went to Market' and 'Puppykin' by the same artist - Sinclair. See images. ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall .
