1st printing after 275 signed copies,this is the 1st trade with publisher's monogram on the copyright page (pg.47 Merle Johnson). But this one is inscribed,1st leaf in author's handwriting "For ____and______from Stephen, with warm affection." This is one of many bought and listed here from an estate,this one just has Stephen.
Slight rubbing to the covers,but still very shiney black cloth with gold lettering and symbol on the front cover,there is wear on the very ends and the fading of the ends spine area has been touched up some.slight lean,very clean book. DJ: is in pieces with half the spine missing,included in case you want to restore it.
