Brick-red cloth with gilt title and image to front cover, and dustjacket designed by Michael Jarvis. 32pp. With beautiful wood engravings by Joan Hassall as vignettes throughout. Poems about creatures of the countryside, some with an underlying religious theme. Nicely designed and printed book, as usual with Hart-Davis. Fine in Very Good protected jacket. Clean cover, pages and jacket, which is price-clipped.
