New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1927. Original black cloth with orange spine lettering. Yellow pictorial endpapers with drawings by Margaret Freeman. Textblock with orange top-edge stain, deckle fore and bottom edge. Photo frontispiece of Miss Martha Jane Canary in the melodramatic role of Calamity Jane. 15 additional half-tone plates in text. Ex libris of Arthur R. Andersen with his interesting bookplate on front pastedown. The book is fine. Very clean and tight with crisp text, no markings or foxing. In the very scarce yellow pictorial dustjacket, price intact, near fine. Housed in a custom slipcase. Second printing, November, 1927 (same month as first printing). Uncommon in this condition and with dustjacket. Fine / near fine.. Cloth. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
