EDINBURGH: H.M.GENERAL REGISTER HOUSE , 1881 Blue buckram cloth boards with gilt blocked titles to spine and blind blocked frame with central garter with arms and crown over to both boards. 275 x 210 mm approx. lxxvi + 676 pp Vol I containing record of documents from 1108 to 1272 A.D. Good (Book- moderate to heavy shelf wear to cloth with boards exposed at corners, mild evidence of damp to bottom margins of both boards and light general soiling, remnant of public library pasted on paper dewey ref no to spine. Pasted note on letter headed paper to front free end paper of purchase from HMSO Kingsway London in 1944, ex Hornsey Central Library with same note paper pasted over library plate to paste down. Occassional circular same library stamps. Very occassional pencil notes / markings to margins, end papers cracked - mull and sewing tapes holding, top edge of book block dust soiled. No other notable defects. A sound reference/ research copy). A Heavy tome and an additional charge will need be made for overseas shipping.
