About This Item
San Francisco: Book Club of California, 1947. First edition. Number 11 in the Club's annual keepsake series. Stated limitation of only 750 copies. Twelve pamphlets from 12 different presses, each with poem and commentary by a California poet. Includes Jeffers' "Natural Music" printed by Quercus Press. Also includes Yvor Winters, Genevieve Taggard, Muriel Rukeyser, Wallace Irwin, Gelett Burgess, et al. Overall very good to near fine with a few pamphlets showing some age darkening. Housed together in blue cloth chemise and matching slipcase with gilt-stamped leather labels considerably rubbed and worn (otherwise near fine).
