This mint condition uncorrected proof copy of the call is bound in a salmon colored paper binding. FIRST EDITION/FIRST PRINTING. There were several colors used in binding this proof copy, i think they may be all valid first printings. This copy is outstanding because of it's condition. A nice hersey collectible.
Synopsis
The Call is a novel about an American missionary in China from 1906 until the 1950's. This fictional biography is about David Treadup, a composite character based on multiple missionaries to China. It is supported with diary entries, letters, articles, staff minutes, and other bibliographic accounts.
